RV Dealers like Camping World

They spend a ton of cash on lots, advertising, shows and the list goes on. Why don't they look at the car guys and follow their lead. Go to a Honda lot and you know the sales guy is going to know the products. Not that hard to know the products and stop playing all the price games.

I'm not sure I can concur with comparing selling RVs, especially motorcoachs, to everyday cars. Sure, they 'seem' similar, but a car is a car, but an RV is like a house on wheels, and their are plenty of different brands, floor plans, models, sizes, weights, and manufacturers. Most 'salespeople' at a car dealership own and drive cars everyday... but on the flip side, most 'salespeople' at an RV dealership RARELY even use an RV, much less know them well, even though they may be around them every day.

The only way to REALLY know an RV or motorcoach is to LIVE in one for a week, without being plugged into electricity, or have access to city water, or sewer.

That is a crash course that every RV salesperson should be required to take!

I was in the power industry and people would sell entire power plants. They know exactly what they are selling. A RV is not that big of a deal.

I sales person should know there is two Ford V10s. A three valve engine in the class As, and 2 valve engine in the class Cs. Most have no clue about what engine size. The had the hardest time taking the last salesman telling me the 2017 Class C had a 5 speed. I told him the five speed went out about a year ago at least. He was ignorant to the hole coach.

1. What kind of slide does it have?
Don't know.
2. Does it have a 13,500 BTU air or 15,000 air.
I think a 15,000. Wrong
3. How much can it tow.
Let's looks at the hitch.
4. Does it have dual pane windows.
Not sure!!!
