Motorhome Suspension Upgrade in Rochester, NY

A note to anyone with Class A, B, C motorhome in Rochester, NY area. I wanted to upgrade the shocks (going to Koni) and sway bars (going to Hellwig) on my FR Class C 2850. Wilkins RV (Victor) quoted me $2100 parts plus $960 labor. Their parts markup was 35% on Hellwig sway bars and 55% on Koni shocks.

Thruway Spring (Mt. Read Blvd, they specialize in truck suspensions) will let me bring my own parts and do install for labor only. I'm saving $800 on parts and another $160 on labor going to Thruway Spring.

I don't mind saving a grand.. it's a free lithium battery for gosh sakes. Anyway, if you need any suspension upgrades and you're in this area check out Thruway Spring and save some buckaroos.

Safe travels and happy trails.

Good to know. They’re famous for truck suspension work in these parts.
