My acquisition Dodge Tioga Class C

Hi All

I just bought this 1979/80 class c Dodge Tioga motorhome. I having been having trouble getting into the forums for a while. But the good folks over at IRV2.COM helped me out. Now that I'm back in, wanted to share some photos of this really nice RV with you, that I took shortly after I purchased this motorhome. This is a 25 footer that I now own in addition to my Fleetwood bounder that I still own. This RV has a Dodge 440 motor 7.2 liter v8, 750 HP with the full towing package built in, sure don't have to worry about towing power. (it's like having a HEMI!). Full bath with tub, shower, toilet and stainless steal sinks. Magic Chef Propane Range, Central Furnace, Suburban Water Heater, and rooftop RV swamp cooler. Brand new tires all the way around. Over cab queen size bed, with plenty of head room. That's a plus for a class c RV. LOL. This one is not a head banger. The upholstery is in the same condition it was in when it was manufactured. The roof has been recently resealed with EPOM, ( This thing has been babied.

It had hornet nests in the roof vents and some closest I had to bug spray and clean out when I first bought it back in July. It was just fun crawling around on the roof to clean the roof vents out!!

It has a few minor repairs left for me to make. But the motor and tranny are in excellent running condition, so it is basically road ready for my trip to Arizona in December. It's all standard house and automotive equipment so it's easy for me to get everything I need at the RV and auto parts stores. You can call it a vintage RV if you want, but it has technology almost as modern as today's RV's. All tank and battery sensors are in good working condition. I recently gave the front bumper and tow hitch system a new paint job. Looking really good now.

Very nice! The interior layout is quite similar to our '94 Montara.

Cool rig. We have an old 1997 Jayco. Old RVs might not look all wow, but the price makes them wow.

Hey thanks!!! Yeh it's a pretty cushy rig. It's got a lot of room on the inside without the slide outs. I don't really care about slide outs. Just a nice RV that gets the job done. So I think I am going to have a lot of fun with this RV.
