No house power after returning from trip.

2003 Itaska Spirit. No DC power to the house. Batteries at 13.7v. I checked the AUX BATT switch, and it is passing DC when actuated, but no relay click as usual. I just returned from a camping trip and went to check the test panel to make sure the tanks were empty, but there wasn't any DC power to the house. If I turn the ignition switch to ON, everything works fine including the familiar click of the AUX relay. As soon as I turn the ignition off, the house goes dead. I know electronics, but without a schematic I'm lost. All the fuses and resetable breakers appear okay.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

That happened to me once before and I had accidently hit the 12V kill switch which on my coach is by the front door on the way out. I looked everywhere before I noticed that. Just a thought. Steve

You might search for the wiring diagram here. At least it will give you a start on tracing the possible source of the problem. Sorry I don't much about your model.

Thanks, I've already found my model. Looks like I have some tracing to do...

FIXED The ground cable leaving the battery compartment was snapped at the frame connection. The ring lug connector was quite corroded. I must have run over some debris that snagged the hanging cable leaving the camp site. I shortened the cable and attached a new copper ring lug, then replaced the star washer, and ground bolt.

I'm not sure why I was getting DC voltage at the AUX BATT switch unless it was coming from the engine battery thru the starter relay? That totally threw me off.

Awesome! I know the feeling of solving a problem that seemed complex only to find it was actually 'nothing to get excited about'.
