Been a while since my last post. So first off. Hi to everyone. Long time no see... Second off. I am getting ready to change the o2 sensors on my motorhome. It is a 2001 Fleetwood Jamboree 29z, with a 2000 Chevy 7.4l engine, automatic tranny. Anyone have experience with this setup or close to this setup? If so, do you happen to know how many upstream and down stream o2 sensors are onboard? Trying to see if I can find out the information before I go and buy the parts and go through the work of moving and jacking up the rig. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is not a Fleetwood question - the O2 sensors are part of the chassis/engine and are not installed by Fleetwood. You appear to have a Chevy van chassis in a Class C, so maybe someone in the Motorhome Class C Forum who has the same chassis could answer the question for you.

Update: Found a code reader for the ODB-II that showed the voltages and such on the o2 sensors. They were both bad from what the reader was showing. So I ended up replacing them both.

Found 2 o2 sensors, both on the upstream after going ahead and jacking the rig up and crawling underneath. What gets me is why they have to put the connectors in such precarious spots. One I had to remove a panel to get to the connector. The other was behind/in part of the metal support frame and without an inspection mirror, you have to go by feel. But at least they are done now. Drove around most of Friday to help burn them in, boondocked the weekend and am driving back to home base today to do a few other repairs or patches that are needed before getting back on the road. Biggest thing to fix next is the support that the pull out step is connected to. The wood frame is breaking apart and needs rebuilt and a new tin box made to put around it.
