Oil & filter favorites

Hi guys,
As I wait for the warmer weather to get here in Upstate New York and I can put in the new wall & ceiling paneling w/o worry of condensation, reinstall the furniture & put down laminate flooring I need to have things to do in & outside of the rig. I decided to give here an oil change and would like to know if everyone has a certain fav oil and filter that they like to use? Are there certain oil & filters that are better for RV's than others? My class C is a 1992 Gulfstream Ultra Limited with a 460 under the hood. Does anyone know what the oil capacity is of this particular engine? I have no idea because I never got and kind of manual on the Rv when i bought it.

Can't help you with the quantity or filter but Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic is very popular for gas engines. Depending on your mileage/wear on the engine will determine which weight you will need. I would try 10 W 30.

Good Luck
Jon

Contact Steve Tobias at gulfstream he sent me most of the owners manuals. The only one they don't have is the coach year he said the farthest was 1998. I did 5 of dino and 1 of duralube from wally. The filter was from oreillys. Have you found your ID sticker for appliances? Mine is in cupboard above sink. You can find a lot of them from the resource page here as well as the GOOGLE. Forgot 10w30 as well

I use Wix oil filters and use synthetic oil usually purchased from Walmart.

Autocraft Semi-synthetic and Autocraft filter as recommended by Ford. Mobile 1 synthetic and Mobile filters for other vehicles.
