Older Minnie Winnie towing an older Honda CR-V

I have a 1996 Minnie Winnie and want to tow my 2005 Honda CR-V behind. Have looked at different towing options and wondered if anyone out there has a rig similar to this and what towing apparatus you'd recommend?

Your Honda even an auto trans version should be able to be towed 4 down.
The big $$ is in the towing equipment need to tow 4 down. You will be looking
at $3 to $4K for the whole setup new with brake controller installed.

If you have a non all wheel drive Honda I guess you could go with a tow dolly
that should run you $1000 - $1200 to purchase.

You don't say how long of a Class C MH you have, but it should be able to tow
the weight of a Honda.

I believe your MH came with a 3,500# hitch, which is about the weight of your CR-V.

2005 Honda CRV "curb weight" is 3,400 pounds according to specs sheet. It does tow all 4 down, just have to go through gears every 150 miles when you stop, to get transmission fluid circulated.

Minnie Winnie is 24 feet, GVWR of 11,500/GCVW 18,500

Thank you for this cost information - I had no idea it was that costly. I had decided against a tow dolly for the reasons of a) where would I put it at the campsite, b) worrying about it getting stolen while I was away, and c) trying to manipulate it by myself.

So even though a tow dolly is the cheaper option, my disc-degenerated back probably would not be able to handle that.

OP will definitely need auxiliary brakes though.

Even though my Minnie Winnie is a smaller oldie goldie with no slide (I didn't want one since it's just another moving part to break down), I was amazed at how the floor plan seems open and not at all crowded. It's a "wide-body" @ 96 inches width and that must be what makes it seem so open.

I specifically wanted an older model without a slide because I read where sometimes people get ready to break camp and their slide won't retract. That would be a nightmare for me because I'm not handy at all.
