Unless that assembly line is building Transit vans it isn't going to help. Class B manufacturers aren't limited by in-house assembly capability. They're limited by chassis availability.

I really like the Leisure Travel B + campers, but Tiffin, Winnebago, other manufacturers have units that are just as good with easier options for repair centers.
When I looked at Leisure, heck, the closest dealer was 6 hours away.
Tiffin, 3 hours,Winnebago 1 hour
As to floorplans and colors they all have excellent choices.
Remember the Mercedes chassis is the same with them all, the appliances are all the same.
Same heating and AC, same TVs.

Only difference is the cabinets and furniture.

I was at Winnebago,s factory and did a tour last month, the View is on the the same line as the Class B units. Watching them installing the interior I was very impressed with the quality and how they double and triple check everything.
Winnebago manufacturers all their own furniture and cabinets.
That was impressive too.
If you ever need a part, Winnebago has the best supply of all parts for all RVs.

Right now they are, but that only added a year to their waiting list. 2019 and back it was still a 2 year wait for a LTV. Vans use to be hard to get, I use to work for MB and the sprinters could take 4-5 months but they've since built a plant in SC to fix that issue. The Fords are built in Kansas....

I have been hearing that nearly everything is in short supply, from chassis to appliances, to windows, to RV-specific fasteners....even basic plumbing parts. I heard from Phoenix USA that they had a hard time getting brass 90 degree elbows for PEX water lines (or was it something else?). The owner had to run out and buy up all stock at area home improvement centers to keep production moving along.

COVID has many different industries doing things unimagined before. Help is in short supply, impacting everything from manufacturing to shipping. Supply chains are broken. JIT (just in time) manufacturing doesn't work anymore. Every industry is stockpiling what they need, increasing inventory costs monumentally, which also impacts part availability to everyone else.

It's ugly and unfortunately many businesses will fail because of it including RV manufactures. Just wait and see what happens post-COVID.
