Polishing Class C

Recently purchased a 2005 Tioga Class C. The fiberglass on the RV was very dull and faded. After several passes all the way around with a polishing compound it looks fantastic. Any thoughts on the best product to seal the finish? Appreciate the feedback.

Our RV is also a 2005. The color is no longer white, but a vanilla color, thanks to Mr Sunshine. Did the polishing compound help that?

I recently used PolyGlow and it really made our2005 Chateau look like new. I had used it on our big power boat with the same great results

I've had really good luck with Protect All - been using it for about 20 years. Easy to use, safe over decals, I do the rig about twice a year. ST

There is more than one post on here somewhere (maybe under 'general MH?') about dealing with fibreglass caps that bleed the white stuff after awhile and muck up your windshield etc. My caps (front and back) were doing that, while the painted body sides can be maintained just like any other car finish. I used ZEP floor polish (4 thin coats of wet-look) after cleaning/rinsing with Barkeeper's friend (that is the menu laid out by others). You let the polish dry between coats but don't buff yet. It actually worked and really gave the gel coat a nice shine (more than the rest of the rig now) with hardly any need to buff. I can't comment yet on longevity or what its like to redo, but for now I'm pleased with the outcome. Wear latex gloves or you'll have nice shiny fingernails for weeks

Diamond Coat by Simoize. Good for 7 years once applied. Can purchase this prurchase on E-Bay. Little expensive, but worth the money.

Nu-Finish.....lasts a year or longer if you wash with a car wash type soap, and a clay cloth would of worked to prep
