Sorry to hear that. We are still waiting for our check from Thor. I guess they forgot. We should have it soon.
If your General dealer needs any help, the General dealer in North Canton Ohio did our fixes, including the jacks. They may want to talk to them, Bill is the service manager and is now very familiar with the 33sw now thanks to us.
I noticed our rear bumper is now rusting, so that will have to go back too. Storing it in a climate controlled garage, shouldn't rust that quickly.
Good luck.

My 33SW had the vent issue on the front tank. Took about minutes to fix. I drained the diesel out of the vent line and rerouted it above the fill line and re attached it with zip ties. So nice to be able to fill the front tank properly.
My rear bumper is also rusting. Filed a warranty claim in it. The local dealer wanted to have a local shop repaint it. Thor wanted the bumper replaced, so a replacement bumper is on order.

Hey Halla.... I got reimbursed fairly soon for my 1st out-of-pocket. Have traverl expense coming but haven't submitted it yet. I'll keep the N Canton folks in mind. Plan on meeting with my service manager tomorrow when I'm down in the city.

I'll take a look at that. Thought it was something simple.
Thanks!

Just out of curiosity, why wouldn't you push them into a new unit under the Lemon Law if it was such a problem?

Someone posted on here a while back with the issues of lemon laws in various states. It seems like we have a better chance getting things fixed, even though it takes a great deal of patience and time. We have a great dealer who is taking care of our problems and they don't even make us wait long for appointments to get it fixed. If things keep falling apart I will go another route.

Unfortunately, Michigan's lemon law doesn't cover motor homes.
I'm taking the same route as Halla and hoping for the best.

Lemon laws generally only will work on the chassis portion of the coach. IE the Ford motor went bad and had to take it to the Ford dealership several times. What you have to understand about a motorhome is that it generally has 3 separate warranties.
1) The chassis (Chevrolet, Dodge, Freightliner, Ford or Mercedes) in most cases.
2) The generator (Mostly done by Onan/Cummins)
3) The house in this case Jayco.
An issue with the house or generator portion doesn't generally fall under the lemon law. Save yourself a great deal of time and aggravation by not calling a lemon law only lawyer. Lawyers generally won't take a case if they're not pretty sure they'll win it. They also don't always tell you that they're not taking the case they may just say "I'll call you back." then not return calls for weeks, months at a time. This isn't to say you don't have rights. There are other laws that protect you such as the Magunson Moss Warranty Act.
Find a lawyer that knows both the lemon laws of your home state and the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act. Having said that I will be the first to admit that my particular delivery of my Jayco Greyhawk 31FS was less than spectacular and I was consulting several lawyers towards the end. Mark West the CEO at Jayco became personally involved and he made it right by flying a technician from Ohio to Florida and he fixed the coach while I was in the shop. I doubt he will be able to do this without a recall of some sort judging by the number of people that are complaining about the same issue. I also think that he will make it right though.

Quick update for all those interested. Thor still has not sent my money back or my warranty, but they agreed to let General RV strip and paint my bumper. So here you go....I took the bumper odd tonight, 4 bolts each side, half of them were stripped. Here is a picture of the bolts they pit in, this cannot meet DOT standards. The big bolt is one that still is loose in the holes, and they are not high grade bolts. Beware and check your bumper. Another scary Thor find.
Good news is I did some more modifications, tiles back splashes , hot water drain etc...
