RM DM 61 crank-up antenna

I am thinking of replacing my batwing with this new antenna from Winegard. Has any one had any issues before I go into demo mode ?

I had looked into this antenna last year. Contacted Winegard and was told that I would get better recption from the "Batwing" antenna and a seperate crankup dish. I decided against this antenna and insted stayed woth the seperate Winegard crankup dish wirh Dish Magic. I hovewer replaced the "Batwing" with a Jack antenna that you do not have to store for travel and am very happy with the current setup.

Not a NEW antenna... This is a combination of a fairly good manual Satellite dish and Winegard's absolutely WORST Over the air antenna.

The OTA is the "Flying Saucer" Dish, and it's an omnidirectional antenna. If you are parked next door to the TV station it will work just fine.. Much farther and not so well.

I recommend against it.. Better to go with a 2nd rooftop dish, either manual or auto, and keep the existing batwing for OTA, adding the Wingman and possibly the Sensar Pro to improve it's performance.

Most of the camping I've done since the country went "All digital" I've not missed sat TV at all.
