Rubber roof wrap over cab over or tuck in?
Replacing my roof. Rubber was wrapped over cab over then trim over that. Watched some videos online and several tucked rubber under. Is there a right or wrong? It’s a Gulfstream conquest class c.

I want say do as you found it. But have to ask if you may know if the roof had been worked on before?
When I replaced my Thor Class C rubber roof. I went as I found it. Which was having the rubber material under both the front and rear caps. And then the trim on top of the fiberglass. Dicor over the trim.
And buy extra sealant. A tube does not go as far as i thought and had to nearly double my estimated amount.
I knew for a fact that the roof had not been worked on before. So I went that way....
Not sure if that helps in your decision, but thought I would reply.

I would want it UNDER the front cap and OVER the back cap. I have have bad effects to improper assemble, but 60+MPH driven water should flow OUT, (never be forced into) w/ a caulking crack. You have to think about a rain drop, both STATIC AND DYNAMIC. Let gravity and centrifugal force HELP you. and if you do any decking replacement, give the center a dome, and the water a path to flow OFF, NOT Puddle. My rear roof has a aluminum trim strip on TOP; ( :-) I feel the EPDM should roll over back edge, and trim be on BACK wall, but may wait for next roof :-) (MAYBE these can help?) https://www.google.com/search?q=pdf+...hrome&ie=UTF-8

Thanks for your reply. I think it was that way from factory because the front termination was stapled down and there are no staple holes through rubber.

I agree. The front termination has a little rot/jagged edges where screw holes and staples rotted. should I just sand down and wrap eternabond so it doesn’t puncture new roof when u wrap over? Or maybe fill rot with job weld stick then eternabond? Will the jb react with any of the rubbers/glues/sealants? Just small rot holes maybe 1/4” diameter.

Sent message to Gulfstream. They said it should go under the cap.

I can't tell from your picture, but if the cabover front wall is long enough, you could cut off the rot/jagged edges and reinstall you trim molding piece a little farther forward than it was.
