Nice.

What tpms are you using?

Thanks
It's a solar unit called Easesuper, but I think there's a bunch of brands that are basically the same thing. I've had it for exactly a year, and never had to charge the main unit. It sits on the dash on a sticky pad, facing south so it gets good sun exposure when stored. I still have the original batteries in the sensors, but have spares in case they need to be replaced. It's operated very well. It comes with a repeater but I don't use that because I'm not towing anything.

Yeah I know some can be very expensive, but I can definitely say this one reads very accurately, compared to my pressure gauge and inflators. When I remove a sensor to air up the tires (as the season/ambient temperatures change) it alarms very quickly.

I aak because I just bought bolt in metal valve stems with 2" round hand hole rubber stabilizers to be installed when I get new tires installed this year after winter. My chassis tech or a truck tire installer will be doing it all for me.

I'll check the instructions if they offer any tips on installing the hand hole stabilizers but it is clear from the installation pictures both inner and outer duallys are dismounted at the time the inner valve stem gets positioned through the hand hole stabilizer because the valve stem may need to be bent slightly to align near the center of the hand hole stabilizer.

Here's the brand I bought for the duallys.
I went back to them to buy the front bolt in valve stems which are 2.25" long and pre bent 20 degrees. Attachment 353374
The wheels are still on the vehicle. I took the outer hub caps off and am trying to seat them on the wheel hand holes. They are not round, but oblong and very stiff. I think if they were round I would have an easier time. Good luck with your tires.

You answered your own question

My 2006 E450 hqs round 2" hand holes in the wheel.
Based on what you said above, you're trying to stuff an oblong rubber stabilizer designed for an oblong hand hole into a round hand hole that requires a round stabilizer.
