Edited to say nevermind the stuff below. The floorplan is a bit different than ours and looks to be tight between the sink and dinette with slide in..

Know you're looking at class Cs but i thought i'd throw this out. The Winnebago Sunstar 26HE is a shorter class A with a small slide.

Possible drawbacks are that it's probably a bit taller than a C and there is not much sleeping capacity. The extended small slide is just right to add a bit of room but it doesn't have to be deployed to use anything in the coach. Our Sunova has a similar floorplan that has worked well for our family of three.

Get new salespeople. I open and close slides all the time (working for a dealer) and they are all accessible.

Interesting since one of the commercials on Tiffins has a full grown man doing pull ups while hanging on to the cabinets.

Do you remember which model of Tiffin you were in and what dealer had it?

We owned a 2003 Tiffin Allegro Open Road and now own a 2006 Tiffin Allegro Open Road and the cabinets are solid.

It was an allegro breeze. I wasn't trying to put tiffin down. I was looking at a thor, decided to see how the better half live so I went into the breeze. It's a 200,000 + coach. It certainly wasn't junk. But....I walked in and spotted 3 things within being 5ft inside the door. I was really surprised that a dealer would have something like that sitting on the lot. But it does make my point....builders don't really have good quality control, even on coaches that cost 2x's as much as mine. And dealer when they get the coaches don't pull them in and make sure everything is correct before they park them on the lot. What they do is talk people into buying them with grand promises that everything will be fixed under warentee. But then you find out they don't operate like GM or Ford. That problems that should never have been allowed to leave the factory are sometimes sitting for months outside dealers service departments waiting to be fixed .

Rv new Purchase Comparisons

We have a Coachmen Leprechaun 260DS which is 27’ long. You can access the bathroom with the 2 slides, however, the queen sized bed folds in half when the slide is in so it’s not usable. Our floor plan has two side by side recliners than can be used while traveling which are opposite from the recliners so both are usable. I like the E450 V-10 with the 6 speed transmission and it has a tow mode that will act like a engine brake going down steep grades. The engine has plenty of power and torque and will pull a7,500 tow and plenty of cargo carrying capacity. The interior is quality built with nice fixtures, the only thing I don’t like is the round plastic sink, but all the cabinets are solid wood. For a small rig it has quite a bit of storage space. One plus I really like which isn’t found in a class C’s is the auto leveling system. The leg room for the driver is fine but the passenger side is a little cramped. The engine is quieter than I expected seeing I been use to diesel pushers. All and all we are very happy with our rig. We also are very happy with our dealer as well which has stood by us ever since we bought the RV. Not only is the manufacture important but the dealership you buy is super important that they’ll stand by what they sell after you bought the RV. Our dealer has a lifetime warranty at no extra cost, which is really nice to haveHope You have awesome luck finding the right RV for you!
