Took our Chateau in for new shocks and sway bars Thursday night for a Friday appointment. Supposed to be in and out on Friday.

They got it in a bay then pulled a Class A in front of it. Thought was the Class A was supposed to be an easy in and out install. They could do it while working on ours.

Air brakes locked up on the Class A. Now they are waiting on parts.

Stuff happens.

Which stabilizer bars and which shocks did you decide on getting?

Tell them to "cage" the brakes and move it. Likely it is only one pot that is locked up. This can be done easily.

Roadmaster sway bars and Bilstein shocks. Went for a ride in a Chateau that just had them put on. Great improvement.

Sometimes in damp weather the rear brake shoes (drum type brakes) will actually rust and stick right to the drums. It feels like the brakes are locked up and the coach won't budge. When this happens, a operator can back up and drive forward over and over until the shoes pop loose. Stuff happens

Our 2007 E350 chassis motorhome, we had heavy duty Roadmaster front and rear stabilizers bars installed back then when our rig was brand new. A few years ago I myself installed heavy duty Bilstein-RV shocks. They all work exceptionally well together.

If you want to go one step further, replace your stock steering stabilizer with a heavy duty version. There are a number of good choices. We have a Safe-T-Plus and like it very much.
