Seal between Ford Chassis and RV “House” - Class C E450 Chassis
Noticed that whatever Thor placed between the E450 Chassis and the house of my Class C RV is no longer in place, as I can see the road through that gap, as well as hear road noise , etc.
Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what your solution was to fixing the problem ( calling Thor is pointless to say the least).
Thanks in advance for any suggestions !

What you state as "missing" is there any such material left anywhere? Maybe there is some remaining gasket material on the other side of the cab to show us.
Maybe there was never a gasket to begin with. Maybe Thor used an adhesive caulk and it has separated.
Like Flyer 15015 says, a couple of pictures would help us to help you.

Here is a picture of the gap that I wrote about yesterday (about as good as I can provide- the space between the two seats is tight, and can’t access underneath without lifting the front end of the RV).
If my memory serves, it may have been a strip of carpet installed, but I am unsure?

Wow, I surely mislunderstood your initial post. I thought your problem was outside, the vertical seamwork behind the driver or passenger door.
So your problem is on the floor, where the house floor meets the chassis cab floor. It is separating there. Do I now understand correctly?

Yes, that is correct. There’s a small gap between the house and cab, which is probably normal in the assembly process. There had to be some material that covered ( or was supposed to cover/ close that gap, but I don’t find anything- no old pieces of carpet or rubber etc….never noticed it until a couple days ago…

I think I would next want to crawl under and look up, and maybe photo? Gravity works? Evidence underneath?

Maybe the solution is as simple as injecting color-matching caulk. Just make sure it's not unsightly on the inside.
