Seat-belt warning light

I have a 1998 Coachmen Leprechaun 265RBS built on a Ford E450. The seat-belt warning light stays on anytime the ignition key is on. When I got it I found the drivers side seat pre-tensioner was unplugged (and the light was on). It is now connected but the dash warning light will not go out. Does anybody out there have any clue about how to reset it or disable it? Even expecting to see it all the time it is still a double-take each time I look at the dash!

Passenger side? Do you have something heavy on the seat if no one is sitting in it?

Doesn't matter if passenger seat is occupied or not the light remains on. It stays on any time the ignition is on.

Until you figure it out, and I know it’s annoying you to be on, a strategically placed piece of electrical tape will make life better.

Check for wiring damage at the plug for the seat? Dogs, mice, rats or cargo can damage
