Obviously you read what I said , but didn't understand my point .
The reference material you provided supports my premise of "Best Practice" for battery maintenance and longevity .
The reference material clearly states that mixing types , ages and condition of batteries will have a detrimental impact on the system as a whole . Heaven knows I've been guilty of jury rigging numerous things when other options weren't available .
While what you propose will work , it just won't work well or for an extended period of time, which is what I understand the OP was asking.

You were using the words " NEED " and " CRITICAL " in your reply. That's not the case.

It is best practice to follow the " rules " but sometimes cost and logistics gets in the way.
