I'm the owner of a 2018 Thor Chateau 22B O would like to sell it [moderator edit] my wife and I have had several issues with health since COVID and I still make payments on the RV how do I go about selling it when my loan is personal bank

RV Trader, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, a sign on it in front of your house.

A less desirable option is Copart. They will sell anything at auction.

Find out what the payoff is on it and then check NADA for average retail value. A 22' is going to be mostly for weekend campers. Wrong time of the year to sell.

You could also call local RV dealers and see if they consign. But right now many have a lot of inventory and they would rather sell theirs instead of yours.

I sold a class C motorhome that was still on a loan. It was quite easy. In many ways better than selling from home. Just advertise the sale in your choice of media. Craigslist, Facebook, RV Trader etc. Specify local sale to be finalized at your bank.

Show the coach till you have a deal in person. Go together to your bank. Buyer pays bank off & gives you any equity into your account. Bank gives you released title and you sign off to buyer. It is buyers job to arrange funds for your bank, however they want to do it. You don't deal directly with the money. Bank handles it for you.

Felt far safer than the time I sold a car Saturday evening for $15,000 cash. Buyer drove off and there we were with cash that some people knew we would have in the house till Monday.

Arranging long distance deals and friends of the buyer with cashiers checks etc. Forget those. In person, at the bank, is the way.
