Thank you! We recently down sized from a 43' 5th wheel TH pulled with an F350 which I wouldn't even attempt to drive. This with an enclosed trailer for the trike...maybe.

The View/Navion either has the bulbous cab over, which in most cases is a bed, but on some floorplans is available with cabinets and no bed, or certain models, such as the Profile (and G) have a streamlined rake back from the windshield to the roof, this is similar to the Leisure Travel Vans. This same lack of a cab over is found on the Transit chassis and the Promaster, produced by various manufacturers.

Hi MJharley,

Both places are great. We stayed in hotels though as we flew in from Michigan. Both parks have shuttles for getting around.

Both places had private camp grounds outside the parks and public ones in the parks.

Had a good look at Dynamax Rev 24ft B+ parked near me in the storage lot, it was very nice, but still too small for our purpose.

Another advantage not mentioned yet, is the larger field of view you have from the cab, without a long overhang over top. Granted, there are many folks that need the sleep area, but if you don't, I'd recommend the shorter caps. All-fibreglass construction is nice too so the area is seamless and leak-proof.

We, like texkayaker, have a 2012 Itasca cambria, had a similar 2007 Winnebago aspect. Both on the ford E450 chassis. Very pleased with both units. Needed a little more room is why we upgraded from a 27' to a 29.5'.

Had a free afternoon for once so was able to have a tour of a Winnebago View 24g today, I must say I was very I impressed with it. Also had a look at a Fuse.

The view with the 2 slides was really nice. When I go to change my coach I will definitely check out a used View 24g.

coachmen profile 24g vs 2250 LE

seems to me that most of you are Winnebago folks... i'm new. if this is impolite to interject a coachmen question.. apologies... holler and i'll delete.
BUT, my question goes with this general topic.
the profile 24g has the swept back "short"overhang.
the 2250 LE has the large front overhang.

I just noticed that the profile 24g is not as tall as the 2250 LE
and has less ground clearance..

and i'm thinking that this will mean lower center of gravity.
maybe a little safer and less susceptible to large trucks and wind.

curious about any comments.
thanks
rr
