side entry door on class c
Hello all,
The side entry door on our Class C (1995 Coachman Leprechaun) is separating on bottom front corner. Its sticks and won't open properly. It looks to me like water has seeped in and rotted the wood frame. That is the best I can tell without taking the door off the coach.
Has anybody had to do this ?
What would be the best way to remove the door? Take the screws from the frame of the door? I tried, they are really in there tight and I didn't want to strip the heads. Or would I be better off to take the post out of the hinges? That looks to me like I would have the cut the post and then replace them,and that would be OK and I am thinking it is probably the better way.
Once I get the door off I'm thinking(hoping) I might have to replace the bottom wood part on the frame of door and get the frame back to back together.
Just looking for some suggestions on any of the above.
