Smart Thermostat for RV

Anyone have any experience switching over to a smart thermostat? We are full time in our RV in Colorado and are looking to try and control our heater while at work.

I know most RV thermostats are 12v dc and most smart thermostats run 24v ac. Not trying to get too carried away and run new power to the thermostat location.

I've seen a few 12v smart thermostat options on amazon but they seemed to be relatively new to the market and wasn't sure how reliable they may be.

These are the only way to go. I have had one for almost a year and 1/2 and it was a great upgrade from the previous thermostat. pure plug-n-play and designed specifically for RVs. It will work on WiFi or BT so we can actually control it from anywhere as we have a full-time router with internet onboard.

There is a configuration tool on the website, if you use this it will tell you which model you need.

I agree with Paul. I have three of the Micro Airs and it's one of the best investments I've made. I can view the temperature and control the A/Cs or furnace from anywhere. It connects to a WiFi hot spot in your RV and their app lets you control from remote.
