Source of dripping after first fresh fill up

Hi there. Just bought a 32' 2015 Coachmen Leprechaun with 24k miles. Despite paying a mobile mechanic to "inspect" this RV, he never topped off the fresh water tank. If he had, he would have told me that after doing this, expect something to continue dripping days after topping off. Before topping off, the control panels' red l.e.ds for the fresh water tank showed one led. After, all four were lit. I turned on all faucets and let them run for a few minutes to lower the level of the fresh tank and did. That tank went from 4 lights to 3. I attached an image of the source of the constant dripping. You can see another drip forming in the middle pipe. Are these pipes meant to be some sort of over fill drainage? There are numerous other issues with this aesthetically clean motor home, but I thought this would be a good place to begin.

Thanks in advance!

Red & Blue would be Low Point Drains.........shutoff valves inside the RV OR in the 'Wet' Bay

Other Blue would probably fresh water tank Overflow so that tank can not be pressurized and cause sagging, burst seams etc
*No shutoff valve ----- when overfilled a siphon action can occur

Agree. Happens every time I filled my tank in a Newmar BayStar Sport.

Thanks for your reply. So this is normal? If so, how low does the tank need to be (currently 3 of 4 led's) before the dripping will stop?

Do you know which pipe is which? Red should be hot low point. The two blues, one cold low point drain and one the overflow for the fresh tank. The one blue one could be the low point drain, and the valve may be not closed all the way or faulty. Does it drip for a while after driving or all the time?

It has dripped since topping off the fresh tank over 2 days ago. As the attached image shows, it is dripping from center blue hose. How long will this drip?

Try opening the low point drain for the cold water and see which one the water comes out of.

Where are these low point drains located on my Coachmen Leprechaun, in relation to the photo of the two blue and one red hose I attached? I have shimmied around under the RV a number of times, as well as inspected the inside for said drains and have found nothing. Are you referring to the drains for each of the 3 tanks? If so, I'm stuck until I figure out why my two slides no longer want to work.

the valves are usually located directly above were you see them below the camper. Look in a cabinet or under the dinette seats but right above those outlets. They usually are a quarter turn valve.

Interesting...I will have a look. I could swear I have opened all cabinet doors and drawers, but...have not yet looked under the dinette seats.

They could also be located in an outside storage compartment or your wet bay.

My Leprechaun had the fresh water tank, water pump and drain valves all under the bed. It also had two overflow pipes for that tank.

Hope this helps.

FINALLY found the 3 valves! They were hidden underneath the 'effin shower pan! I paid a local mobile RV mechanic to diagnose electrical and other issues and he knew everything there was to know about my Leprechaun and likely all other makes and models. After doing a lot of chin scratchin', he saw a plastic cover with two screws in it, located beneath the shower pan, which I had already peeked into before, and discovered them off to one side. There were the two blue and one red plastic hoses, each with their own valves. He turned off the blue one that lead underneath to what was shown in my attached photo, to the source of the leak and voila...no more leaks!

There should be an owners manual online for that RV, try the coachmen website
