Steps flex on Winnebago View 23H
I have a 2006 Winnebago View 23H. It has the Kwikee 2 step electric step unit. When I step onto the first step it drops about 1 inch. It causes the back of the step platform inside the RV to rise in the back along with the riser and right up to the top step that covers the batteries. With the top step off I can see that it flexes the battery box itself. The cams on the steps are tight against the arms. From underneath I don't see any broken welds or loose nuts or bolts. There is no simple way to remove the Kwikee step unit to check for structural damage because there are two bolted on side plates that hold the entire step compartment up so there is no access to get a wrench in. Is this normal to have that much movement on the inside step compartment?
