Storage bin door cable support

we want to add additional supports to our storage bin doors. has anyone done this and where did you find them in various sizes?

You can find these at Camping World, Amazon, Ebay and other places. They're called hydraulic lift kits or aka storage door struts. Just make sure you get the right size to hold the size and weight of the door you have.

Sailboat hardware would do for cables or perhaps from a pickup tailgate.
