Super Springs

MY new BT Cruiser on the 2021 Ford E-350 Super Duty [25 foot 10,000 lbs] sways a little in the back, was looking at the Super Springs, they can be set to raise the back 1 inch and offer more stable in the back including sway contol.

They cost $500 and easy to install, anyone have them and what do you think, are they the simple answer..

No, If your looking to lessen sway, you should be looking at stiffer anti sway bars, not stiffer springs.

You may want to consider Sumo springs in rear. They take up open space between bump stop and frame. Just adding a spring will make the rear that much stiffer and bumpier. In theory the current springs should be specked for the load you have. Just my opinion.

Enjoy the journey

Sumo springs are no different then added leaf springs. They stiffen the spring that's being compressed as the RV leans.

The spring on the windward side is left to relax, letting that side lift.

Only a sway bar counteracts that.

Was looking at those Sumo springs, they are the same cost as the Super springs, I think I will start will those 1st and see how the RV handles, if the sway is still there than I will upgrade the sway bar, I thought the new 2021 Ford chassis improved the rear suspension but it appears it has not, my RV was completely empty driving it back from Salt Lake city to Vegas when I bought it with 1950 pounds spare carrying weight.
[ E-350 12500 pound chassis.]

Even though it was bad weather and windy it still had a good amount of sway in back, the front was rock solid needs nothing for the front.
