Surveillance and backup monitoring.

So here is the question. How useful would surveillance cc tv camera systems be to those that travel alot. I know backup cameras help alot with backing, but what about from a security stand point.

I use to install cc tv and security systems, and have some parts, just wanted to know how useful it is or would have been to others.

Some facts, most cameras are 12 or 24v so they are easy to adapt or just connect to the DC systems with out all those adapters. Even the lower end home dvr for the cc tv systems run on 12v.

In 11 years of full timing I never felt the need to install one. I did not boon dock though. Always stayed in a RV park where units were pretty close to each other and there were lots of people to see what was going on.
