You already have one. Your RV is a giant wind screen. I bought a folding table https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and set up my grill on the leeward (down wind) side of my RV.

I should have been more specific. Ours has a lid also, but windy days near ocean can be a heating problem. So wanted a screen around the outside that hopefully folds up for storage.

Did you look at the link to the table? It rolls up and stores in a bag that is only 28" x 7. 5" x 2. 2 ". It doesn't use up much space.

Made one a few years ago.
Parts:
(3) cheap 6" C-clamps--stamped metal, not cast.
(3) pieces of driveway marker fiberglass rod, approx 24" long (same as overall length of the Q1000 grill)
(1) piece of heavy old canvas, with "tubes" sewn in for the fiberglass rods. one tube on each end and one tube about the width of the CG picnic table from an end. Sew one end of each tube so the canvas doesn't slide down the fiberglass.
I drilled two holes in each clamp to accommodate heavy cable ties.
I had some scrap aluminum tubing just slightly larger inside than the fiberglass rods so I fastened them to the clamps with the cable ties and then glued them in place. Block the bottom ends so the fiberglass rods do NOT slide thru.
After all that, clamp the altered clamps to the picnic table, slide the fiberglass rods into the clamp tubes and then put the canvas over the fiberglass rods.
Obviously this setup should be placed on the wind side of the grill.
Sorry, no pictures as the coach is in storage 30 miles away.
The whole setup rolls or folds up and takes very little space under the stored grill base.

Made one about 20 years ago for the Weber Baby Q, Got rid of it about 10 years ago when I stopped full timing. Simple affair 3 pieces of sheet aluminum hinged together, no pictures.

I am still using the same Baby Q that I purchased 20 years ago, it gets lots of use and I have never replaced a part! I did convert it from little bottles to regular tanks. The drip tray recently developed a leak and I use aluminum foil type pans in it now.

This for Puttin and others fighting wind while grilling.
I didn't like my old setup so am embarking on a new design. Still too cold out to finish but here is what I did so far.
Harbor Freight: (4) 2" clamps @ $2.99 each
(1) 5'x7' blue plastic tarp: $1.99 (may change to longer later--this for trial)
Lumber supply store: (1) 10' 1/2" heavy wall PVC tubing.

Tools needed: router, router table and 5/16" dia router bit.
Tape measure, Miter saw, glue gun, and electrical tape.
First I cut the PVC pipe into 27" lengths.
Then I routed a slot 4" long thru one wall of each PVC pipe.
Then I balled up some tinfoil and shoved the ball down in each tube just past the slot.
Next, I taped the clamp in place.
Next, Used the glue gun to fill each side of the clamp until oozing out the end of the tube.
Next step (after it warms up enough to be outside) I plan on making two stepped dowels to glue into the ends of ONLY two of the assemblies. Why? Because these will be on the ends of my 5'x7' plastic tarp. The other two assemblies will be used to create "corners" needed to enclose three sides of the Weber grill.
In a week or so I will take everything over to the park and set it up for pictures.

Thank you

Nitehawk,

I'd really like to see it set up- I'll wait for that. Thanks for posting a great setup for us.
