DW and I had a Jayco Melbourne 28 class C ( 2014 ) with tankless hot water. Never again. Very inconsistent temps , cold one minute , scalding the next. Spoke with tech reps to no avail. I'm sure some people have had good experiences, I'm just not one of 'em.

In my class C motorhome conversion I went with a Eco Temp i12 LP tankless in doing so it's cost effective and easy to place in the water closet and the only ac it's using is to operate the internal exhaust fan and digital display with an out put of 80K BTU's. I just have this to say tankless compared to the conventional RV 6 or 10 gal water heat is like going from forced air heater to a heat pump they never get hot enough. But they do, you just have to adjust if you want to. In my Fleetwood NW edition Prowler I have a 6gal HE gas/elec. am I going to charge? No way it works great.
another reason I went tank less was because it was new construction and I didn't want to cut an access panel and vent for the rv hot water heat.
Hope I'm not to far off op's topic
