Thermostat issue

Got a 2000 E450 Tioga the AC works great if i use Manual low and hi but the automatic select side doesnít seem to work.Any ideas?
Itís my first rv and we love it so far.

A/C on high or low tells the controller to run the fan on high speed or low speed, fan runs continuously with compressor cycling on and off per the demand on the thermostat.
AUTO ose the controller determines fan speed based on temperature set point vs actual temperature both fan and compressor turn on and off based on thermostat demand. Some a/c units have a built in time delay for the compressor it can be as long as 5 minutes.
