Thomas Payne RV Euro chair install

Regarding Thomas Payne RV Euro Chair my wife and I were discussing if I should secure to floor of RV. The company we purchased it from said no need. But I was wondering if anybody out there in RV land has pondered this also?

Replace couch with two recliners

I have been thinking about doing the same but my couch is installed in a slide out and the floor of the slide out does not come to the front of the couch, it ends about 4 to 5 inches back. I am not sure the chairs would set in this small of a platform.
