Tire Monitor Systems

I would like to find out thoughts on Tire Monitoring systems. What is a good brand?

This could keep you busy for quite a while - its often discussed and there is a lot of information and experience detailed in these threads:

Im using this

https://eezrvproducts.com/

and Im perfectly satisfied with it although I had to buy the repeater (signal booster) to get good consistent results

I personally like the TST TPMS systems. They are easy to set up and use.

I use the RVi TPMS, brake system and battery charging system. Very pleased with all 3 systems. They are independent from one another, so you don't need all 3.

The main reason I bought EEZTire was because it has a flat back which worked well for my mounting plan. It got good enough reviews and has good customer support. But it isnt exactly easy to set up.

I also didn't realize how high tire pressures go when they get warmed up so for a while it was alarming occasionally at the high pressure setting I selected, which was 130psi.

Another interesting aspect is that by reading temp, even though its at the valve stem so not precise for tire temp, you can see if your brakes are working evenly.

Hopefully I can tack on to this question and add value. Looking at TST for no real reason. My add on question for those brands/systems that have it. Which sensors do you prefer or recommend avoiding?
Cap? Cap pass through? or rim collar? I understand cap is rubber valve stem (stock), pass through is metal stems (change), and collar would be tire dismount to install. Wondering about sensors wandering off and battery maintenance as well.

Just last week i installed the TireMinder A1AS system and I'm very pleased with it. Easy to set up, very well designed software, huge color display showing all six tires all the time for either PSI or temperature. I was very impressed with the quality of the parts, the packaging, and the detailed manual. I don't have the flow through valves though.

We chose the caps even though we have steel valve stems because the pass-thru style seemed too big and bulky to me. The cap style were the overwhelming favorites based on this and other forums.

I also got the cap style (also sometimes known as anti-theft),
because they are the smallest and lightest weight.

The Eez Tire was the smallest I have seen.

IMPORTANT….. remove the “anti-theft” collar around the sensor, and just screw on the sensor (no special tool needed)

It’s, tiny, very unobtrusive, and honestly just looks like a valve stem cap to most people.

No issues with theft in over 2 years.

They work well and you are satisfied with the preformance? Price looks good!

I have the EEZRV non-flow through and it's been great. 6 years with no problems.

Yes. I have the 12 sensor kit with repeater. Screen on mine was monocolor. The new color screen looks better but haven’t tried it.
