I’m nowhere at the level of some of you folks, but will add a simple thought here. I replaced my thermostat years ago with a $50 Honeywell digital unit years ago and it was one of the best mods I’ve done. The crappy Coleman Mach slider that came with the RV seemed to be +/- 7-8 degrees. I gave up the 2 speed fan option but that was no big deal in comparison to having a more responsive thermostat.
