Using a 25ft 30amp extension cord.

My shore power cord is not long enough to reach the 30 amp plug, so I have a 25ft 30amp heavy duty extension cord to make the connection. Is it OK to leave it plugged in this way for an extended period of time to keep the battery charged?

I use 30 amp extensions while yard camping, at family's homes often.

No problem running everything.

You might want to keep the connection between the two dry, out of the wet dew or rain.

The most common 30amp problem is not keeping the prongs on the plug clean. They are brass and tarnish making a poor connection which generates heat.

Don't clean them with any abrasive cleaners. That makes more problems. If you must clean them get a can of contact cleaner.
