Water/Fuel Separator

I own a 2016 Winnebago trend 23L.
I purchased it new in February of this year.

It is a 2015 Dodge Ram promaster 3 ltr. 173 hp turbo diesel (which is a Fiat product ).

My local garage (private) cannot locate the water/fuel separator.
The local dodge dealer does not service this Chrysler product.
I cannot locate it using the owners manual. The only reference to it is the computer indicator when it requires service.

Can someone help please?

Thanks in advance.

Watch this first, then do as it says, watch the DVD

and if not the DVD go to the web page and sign on.

Also lots of good info on the Diesel Ram 1500 forum

By the way, this discussion shows you where it is located on the 1500 diesel and what it looks like. Might give you some clues.

I see from the manual, p.90 that you "need to visit the dealer" if the fuel filter needs changing............ what BS. I also see on P.59 and 91 that you, like my Mercedes engine in my View, is restricted to 5% or less Bio Diesel except in an emergency. Do not leave the Bio in the tank, burn it out and refill with regular diesel before storing the vehicle. I pulled into a station the other day and had to go elsewhere because it had a >5 and <20% biodiesel sticker on the pump.

Illustrated parts listing, the more I look, the more I suspect it is near the fuel tank. Just gotta lay down under it and look around.

I'm confused. The 2016 models didn't have a diesel engine option, neither do the 2017 models. The last year the diesel was offered was 2015. So I guess you have a 2015.

I would expect that you will find the fuel filter/water separator to be under the hood near the fuel pump (much like the MB models). Try another Dodge/Chrysler deal in a larger city or use one of the online suppliers.
