Water Leak 2019 Winnebago View

We have had a water leak problem since we purchased our rig. We had taken it in several times but the answer they give us is that we cannot replicate the problem. When we camp and hook to city water, water always comes through the rounded wall in the kitchen/couch area. Also, water leaks at the bottom wall in the bathroom to the right of the toilet. Then when we switch primarily to the water pump the same problem exists. This is not an acceptable way to operate when we our out on the road. If anyone has suggestion we would appreciate any info you might have that we can resolve this problem for good. Thanks! Ron & Jo

It is always helpful for a member to include the rig information in their signature so we viewers know what we are dealing with (Make/model/year/length).

With that said, the water issue needs to be resolved sooner rather than later. Since you have not had success in resolving the issue after multiple attempts with the same servicer, I personally would look into having a mobile RV service tech come out and investigate the issue once you are able to duplicate it for him/her to see. It sounds like you can reproduce the issue repeatedly so the shop not being "able to reproduce it" is most like because they did not WANT to reproduce it.

Pictures of the leaking areas as well as additional information as requested above might help

Coming through the wall can mean many things.

Direct observation of an active leak is helpful in identifying the source.

Possibly add some food dye to your fresh water tank so you can follow the water leak back to the source? Never done this, but it's very hard to find it if you can't SEE IT. Good luck!

We appreciate all of the concern and comments on our Leaking problem. We had Kevin Long, AZ Mobile RV Repair from Surprise AZ over yesterday and he found the problem which he guessed was originated at the factory. It was in the shower and with the water damage behind the wall you could tell it was there for a long time. Kevin the owner summarizes the problem and fixed it and we hope this puts the leaking to an end . Here is Kevin's summary:

"Began inspecting for leak. Water had

been spotted on the elevated floor that

the toilet mounts on. Ran toilet to check

for valve leaks and base gasket leaks.

No leaks found from toilet. Ran shower.

Removed the drawer under the D/S

bed. Could hear water dripping and

could see water droplets behind shower

panels. Removed shower faucet panel in

shower. Ran shower again and could

see the nipple at the lower connector

leaking. Dis-assembled shower faucet.

Found that the nipple between the hose

and the faucet was cross threaded. Removed

nipple and inspected for

damage. No damage found. Re-installed

nipple and re-assembled faucet.

Connected faucet back to water supply

in motorhome and tested. No leaks

found. Re-installed faucet plate and

caulked."

Again, we thank all of you for your input. We took note on everyone of them to track this mystery and hope that our next outing will be much more enjoyable without worrying about leaks. THANKS! Ron & Jo
