Water tank fill

I have a 2006 coachmen freelander. .when filling the water tank how do I know when it is full? I have two valves one for wintreizing and one for tank .also their is no over line.some one said turn on a faucet and when water comes out tank is full. Water pump is turned off.

Water will come out of the over flow hose and maybe wet you. Mine will!

What he said. The overflow on mine is far enough under that it doesn't splash onto me, but there's no missing the water that's spilling out.
