wattage of generator/ panel control switches

we have a 1979 ford delta/Higgins chrystleaire 24' motorhome. the generator is a genset3.0. don't know what the wattage is. gen started and ran good when we purchased the rv a couple of year ago, but now all it does is click when you hit the inside or outside starter button. generator only has 174 hours on it. plus their are 4 buttons above the operators station. the red and green are for the interior lights. the orange comes on but don't know what its for. the blue blows fuses when tripped. all wires leading from panel are white. any help with this will be greatly appreciated. the previous owners hadn't used the generator in over 7 years

Genset 3.0 sort of indicates it's an Onan brand? More details would help us help you figure it out, like brand and model number beyond 3.0. If you look on the generator, there are usually circuit breakers marked with in amps. Assuming it generates 120 volts, multiply 120 times the amps of the circuit breaker and that will tell you how many watts it generates. Again, Watts = Volts x Amps.

Are you sure the battery is charged up?

You need the manual and to get the right one you need the make/model number. Pictures would help us.

Unfortunately low hours on a genset is typically not a good thing. They're made to run and can last for thousands of hours if taken care of.
