What Chassis-Specific Parts Do You Carry?
We have a 2007 E350-V10 chassis.
Last year after being stuck on the side of the road for a day from a failed fuel pump driver module, I now carry a spare. I found a new one for sale on eBay HERE for less than $30. I carry it for cheap insurance.
Not considering typical items like a spare tire, fluids, filters, fuses, relays, and light bulbs......
What spare chassis-specific parts do you carry in-case of a road-side failure?

I carry several quarts of engine oil & water. That is about it.
Heck the rig does not even have a spare tire.
The rest I hope will be covered by a phone call or credit card.
There was a time I carried other stuff that was never used. Think air compressor for one. Not now, KISS works for me.

Spare belt. That's it. Everything else is guesswork and will drive you nuts. I don't even carry fluids or a bunch of tools any more. For years they sat on my rig collecting dust (and using up fuel). The only time I used them was in my driveway. The V10 still has parts available just about anywhere you go, and fluids are everywhere if you need them. No sense carrying a bunch of what if parts.

I carry serpentine, upper and lower hoses, and one of them a real octopus.

And in some cases an extended wait... just hard to tell which ones won't be in-stock locally. Tires pretty common... other parts not so much.

The primary serpentine belt seems to be the chassis-specific part of choice.

I added the belt tensioner as they frequently go together. While doing one not a bad idea to do both.
3 important parts to the tensioner. Bearing (for totation), spring (for tension) and dampened ( acts like a shock absorber to reduce). Some replace bearing and use it but may not be doing the other tasks well.

Since I have the room, I usually keep some of the parts I've replaced over the years. For my gasoline fired rig, these include a serpentine belt, idler and tension pulleys, radiator hose, and a few spark plugs and wires. I keep a bottle of Dexron 3 for just in case (transmission and jacks) and a couple of quarts of oil for the engine. Have never needed it but I keep a spare tire onboard as well.
For the genset, oil and a fuel pump.
And of course, the tools needed to repair/replace these items.
