We've been looking at 2007 and newer Winnebago View class C motor homes. We really like the style and floor plans; especially the J models.
The prices are all over the board on these ranging from 32K for a 2007 with 54,000 miles and 68K for a 2008 with 115,000 miles.
Also noted is the Winnebago Navion as well as the Fleetwood Icon, Gulf Stream Vista Cruiser and Forest River Solera........ all on the Dodge Sprinter chassis. (There's probably others I don't know about, too).

Any View owners with some purchase advice; what too look for, problems, etc?

I hope that owners will respond as we find ourselves looking more and more at this chasis, if I may ask, would those good enough to post tell me if they have a rubber roof, what the tank sizes are and most importantly what the ccc is? I understand when these first came out ccc or occ was an issue with those who consider this an important area.

good morning..We have a 2011 view with the K floorplan. really love this plan, although I think the K is not available for 2012. Handles well on the road and smooth. Goes up hills good, although we have not taken it out west yet. that will come 2012. Diesel fuel 16-19 mpg, not towing a toad.
black tank 31 gallons,gray tank 27 gals. fuel 26 gallons, lpg 13 gallons. we flat tow a chevy malibu and have had no problems with towing. again don't know about the hills out west. One problem...Dodge will not service 2010 or newer mh's under warranty. I understand from MB athat it must be a MB sprinter dealer. OUr nearest one according to MB is greensboro or Myrtle Beach. I also asked about Freightliner, but MB said no. Don't know why. At least that has been my experience. So check at your location about service if needed on the sprinter chassis. For myself and dw and our dog this coach is ideal. we are not fulltimers, so space is not as critical for us. I also found that I have adequate storage for 2 week trips, and generator is pretty quiet. hope this helps. Oh by the way, as others have mentioned, check the dates on the tires. Hope you find the mh that you want.

This link will explain tire dates. A fairly new coach should not be of concern now.

There are a lot of posts out there that you can read. I just typed "Winnebago View"- in iRV2's search engine- and got back pages of threads. Did the same for two of the other models you listed. You may find that your question has already been answered in someone else's thread.....

You can also look for Blogs of folks who have those models. Here is one- off hand- that I know of: Winnie Views

007, in a normal world the date of manufacture of stuff should not be a concern to someone who owns or is buying a motorhome but as one group of owners is discovering the times they are achanging.
