Winter storage indoor vs outdoor

New to RVing. Just bought Forest River Class C. I thought it would only make sense to store indoor for winter (southern Ontario) if an option, but the Sales Rep says it is best to store outdoors to "let it breathe". I can get affordable indoor storage nearby. Not climate controlled at all, but will keep elements off the unit.

What are your thoughts? Thank you

Welcome to the forum.

I bet it'll breath just fine if it were inside.. Either is OK, but I'd prefer inside. Even if its an unheated area, at least its not exposed to rain, snow, ice, Sunlight UV, dust, wind, leaves, bird dropping, insects, etc, etc, etc...

I've heard some good ones on these forums, but that "let it breathe" one is up there. That doesn't even make any sense. Keeping the elements, especially the sun, off your rig is far more critical in my opinion (if you can).

Mine breathes just fine in my pole barn. Granted I have the other doors of my pole barn up a lot, but I still wouldn't be worried if it was in closed storage for a long time. I'd only listen and follow about 30% if what sales reps had to say.
