Good morning, all,

We just received our FMCA membership package (F373167).

The instructions suggest mounting the emblems at the highest point in the center of the both ends of the coach.

Which leads me to my questions?

1. I don't want to drill any holes in our new coach.
What are your recommendations for placement and mounting the emblems?

2. Since Pennsylvania doesn't use a front license plate, can I use the license plate holder for the front emblem?

3. Can I attach the rear emblem to the botom of the rear licence plate holder?

Thanks for your recommendations.

Jim and Elaine

Put them anywhere you want/find best suited for you. I used plastic Zip-ties to attach one on my rear ladder, the front one I just stick in my windshield (lean it on the glass) when I want to display it.

I don't want any extra holes drilled in my MH either.

Best Regards!

Welcome to FMCA!

You can mount the "goose egg" anywhere your heart desires. The suggestions are just to make the plate conspicuous to others. I have my rear plate mounted to a storage door on the rear of mine and it works great. If you do drill any holes for mounting remember to fill them with some sort of caulk/sealant BEFORE putting the screws in.

There are about as many different ways of mounting the plates as there are people who mount them. No hard and fast rules, except maybe get out and enjoy the new motor home.

Jim Martin,
Here is what I did with the FMCA second plate....the first plate is the FMCA plate and is just above this one.....

The "back side" of the plate is smooth so the sticker fits nice!!

Electrical wire ties hold it on the ladder....

Clear Silicone Seal works pretty good and comes off without leaving a mark. Hold in place with tape overnight. Just don't use too much....

Good morning, Robert,

Thanks for the fed back.

For now I have the emblem attached the rear ladder with copper wire.

Thanks again.

Jim,rather than use copper wire, why not try the plastic wire ties? Wouldn't that be better on your ladder?
