Campground Volunteer Hosts Cle Elum Ranger District Okanogan Wenatchee NF in WA State

The Cle Elum Ranger District is located 90 minutes east of Seattle, on the dry side of the Cascade Mountains. Fifteen campground hosts are needed to help operate 10 campgrounds varying in size from 150 sites to 10 sites. Duties include light maintenance, cleaning restrooms and fire pits, fee collection, assisting campers in securing a site, proper registration and offering information on local activities.

A complimentary dry camp site is provided and $28 per day worked reimbursement is available to cover incidental expenditures such as propane and generator fuel. Our campgrounds are remote but do have vault toilets. Hosts use a macerator to empty tanks into vaults.
Water is delivered to host sites in barrels and pumped into the RV.
