The Flat Ranch Preserve, Island Park, ID, is a wonderful summer workamper gig. We’ve been there three different summers (2017, 2019 & 2021) and we absolutely loved it. Very quiet and laid back even though you’re 20 miles from the west gate of Yellowstone!
If you think you might be interested in the area and helping out in a small visitor’s center and minor tasks on a working cattle ranch in exchange for a small Private Campground FHU site 3.5 miles from the ranch, private message me with any additional questions and I’ll send you the manager’s email.*

Work commitment is roughly*16-18 hours each a week for each person, 4 hours/day Fri thru Sun, no involvement with the cattle - that’s leased out to a local rancher.*
