Latest Batch of National Forest Campground Host Positions

We just updated the list of National Forest Host positions at Forestcamping.com. The listings are located in the Host Positions section on our website.

The are fresh from the National Forest district offices or the concessionaires operating their campground.


Note: All information is listed on the postings. Please get in touch with the contact person directly as we have no involvement in the hiring.

The postings are provided as a free service to the Forest Service.

Why would someone not just use volunteer.gov to find USFS positions? You will end up there to complete forms anyway.

One reason is that the campground link Forestcamping.com includes with each listing provides additional information about the campground / national forest. This allows the potential applicant to make a more informed decision as to whether they want to go forward with the application right now vs having to bounce around to different sources.

By providing an additional source for the Forest Service to get their host positions publicized, they will hopefully have more applicants to choose from.

BTW, we include the Volunteer.gov link on our Host page too.
