We were at Crazy Horse in October. I have visited multiple times since 1991.

Great place and we enjoyed the staff. Had an interesting guide on our bus trip where we pearned much of the work in the past decade has been to cut down the width of the arm. So one who has visited in the past may not notice much change.

Can you find out why 2 Duke basketballs are displayed in the visitors center? If you can, send me a PM. As a Dukie, I'd like to know what Duke or Coach K has done for the project.

Well obviously things most likely will be somewhat different because of our current crisis...

I haven’t talked to folks in Custer but I feel certain things will be restructured as far as time frames go....

We will just roll with the punches as see what develops.....

Most important thing now is for a solution to this virus be found and quickly so lives can be saved....

As expected, Crazy Horse is now closed until April 7 when things will be re-evaluated and closure most likely extended.....

Thankful we moved into a great spot 2/1 so that I could have double cataract surgery..... Surgery went fantastic so now we are just playing a waiting game in a super-safe spot in East Texas....

Once things appear to be improving and Crazy Horse makes the decision to reopen, we’ll head to SD.....

We are scheduled to work at DC Fish Hatchery in Spearfish, SD August thru September. Hoping Covid is decreasing significantly by them as we are really looking forward to this opportunity. Love the Black Hills!

As of yesterday, it appears that Crazy Horse hopes to reopen Memorial Day weekend.... Hopefully by then things will have finally begun to “normalize”

Of course there are so many variables that nothing is “chiseled in stone”..... oops.....

Got word today to report to our summer jobs at The Crazy Horse Memorial in Custer, SD on the 13th and we will be opening on the 18th....

Many “safety” features will be in place - masks, small groups, etc.... That’s why we are reporting 5 days early - special training.....

Looking forward to a safe, great 4.5 months.....

Glad to hear things are opening up in the upper midwest. We should be in the area around early August. Don’t bother saving any snow for me
