I stated "most" as I know some do not. I also stated ".if" A lot of folks do not know what they have or how it all works together. Now to try be of even more help, if you do not have engine coolant heat exchanger capability there is limited value to using the generator for the Aquahot to make heat. Even if you have the "two" heating elements that is just over 10,000 Btu/Hrs of heat. Even the smaller Aqua Hots or Oasis heaters are some where north of 40K Btu/Hrs. of heat on Diesel. A gallon of Diesel is about 138K Btu's. If running the genny for other needs than the electric may make sense. Otherwise using the burner is a much cheaper option.
At home plugged into power we pay approximately $025/kWh for electric. For January I used the electric to keep my rig from freezing. Was about a $250 impact on my bill. For February I used the Diesel burner. I used about 25 gallons. The Diesel is cheaper that metered power at least here.
