They're a good source for gently used T-shirts. I like the ones with funny or patriotic logos and pictures on them. If they ever to get soiled or frazzled around the collar, they're still good for shop, work or sleep shirts.

Silver Creek New York has a heck of a fun event every spring. Giant Yard sale and if anyone is interested in attending I could find out and post the date(s) for it on here.

Any local markets or garage sales you can pickup a bargain. Go further afield to the warehouse sales they're full of great stuff.

I use Craig's list or local small news papers like the white sheet, az or thrifty nickle, I also go to flea markets. I purchased my Road master base plate for my Dodge Dakota new for $125.00, base plate for my Jeep $50.00 and my In motion satellite with receiver for $450.00.

I picked up an almost complete 8"x12" electrical repair kit, for a buck at a garage sale. Pliers, crimper, wire, all types of connectors, fuses, tape, screwdrivers, shrink tubing, and more. It is double sided box with compartments on each side. He also had some handy tools. I use my Segway X2 to check out the neighborhood sales. Just hope I don't find anything too big.

Flea market find!

Yes! While perusing a flea market in FL I came upon a huge pile of wheel covers! While they were clearly home made out of camouflage printed material they were only a dollar each! I turned them inside out to hide the print and used them quite successfully! Love love love flea markets!

I once bought a bright red plastic vanity sink for our 1st TT at a garage sale for a buck. DW didn't like the colour so it will sacrificed at our long pending garage Sale for $10.00 which will help with the storage costs these last number (11) of years.

Stoves, chairs, fold up picnic table, portable 12 coffee maker.
The thing is most of what we have picked up along the way is now what we are going to be selling to get ready to FT.

Way more stuff than we need in a RV. I don't even think we will keep the 12v coffee maker, just not enough use out of it to warrant keeping it.

I like my old aluminum stove top peculator. It can be used on the stove in the van or even over a campfire if there's a grill cover to set it on. It doubles for heating water for tea, oatmeal, etc.

Yes....O great deals..At this one house garage sale I got new / unopened gallon jugs of RV roof cleaner, awning cleaner, RV wash, RV rubber roof treatment for $2 each.

But the real deal was a hardly used Blue OX tow bar and RoadMaster Guardian deflector. Got it for $50 and resold it a week later on Craigslist for $650 sweet...

Picked up a new Coleman port-a-potty for $5 last fall....I'll flip it for a few bucks on FeeBay or Craigslist soon....

I recently paid five bucks for a copy of the book "The Ugly American." I think I'll donate it to SF.

I guess it would be in the "Etc." department of this topic, but if you like to read and want to avoid the ridiculous prices they are getting for new books, check out library book sales. Almost all libraries have them run by "The Friends of the Library". Many libraries have little book store sections as well with books for sale year around. No, they aren't all library discards. they rely heavily on book contributors.
Also, if you are ever in Upstate NY in early October, check out the Warrensburg's "World's Largest Garage Sale". It's a hoot with the whole Town participating on every street and side street!
