Cost for a full HU site, what's fair?

Okay I know that this is all pretty subjective, but I wanted to feel out y'all's thoughts.
My husband and I got invited to work next summer at a cute little cafe in a resort lake town in Oregon. The owners and crew seem great, we spent some time with them while we were camping over there recently. The only caveat being we needed to find a place to park our rig.
After calling around to a couple of parks (one flat out said no due to their general business, one is 1,100$/mo. yikes) we got ahold of a couple who rent out a couple of spots on their property for the summer season, May 1-Oct 1. They sent pics of the site, it's full water and sewer, includes trash pick up and pretty decent fiber internet for their guests. The electric is metered. It's 800$/mo. and they like 4 installments of 1,000$. We can swing it, and it's the cheapest option so far, and it's only 2 spaces as opposed to busy park. Laundry is close by I believe and we would be in walking distance of our jobs, so we'd save a lot on fuel and commuting. Since we are so new to this, I just wanted to see what folks thought of the offer. We're tempted to jump on it.

How much will you make an hour? If your income will generally offset or give you a little income, it could be okay. Remember you will need to pay taxes, state and federal, so calculate that in the formula.
How is that area, do you want to spend 6 months there?

It all seems reasonable assuming your income from the job will pay your sites fees and living expenses. You must at least break even, hopefully some you will have some extra$$$ when all is said and done.
But the job must pay enough to at least break even!

Your answer is in your question. I'm guessing nightly campground rental in season is ~$100 and you're wanting to tie one site up for months. Agree with Lantley, it's really an economic decision. Personally, I'd go for the private rental mainly to be able to get away from the noise after hours.

$800 a month = $200 a week =$28 a day which is seems reasonable for a site in a resort area

All great points, thanks you guys. Yeah, we just stayed at the state park nearby and I think it was like, 38$ a night for a full hu. I did a budget recently for a park that was offering 900$ a month, and the minimum wage is actually higher than I initially calculated, so I feel good about that!

I would take the $800 plus metered electric, only 2 sites, sounds like a winner plus you save money by walking to your job

You will end up paying ~1000/mo for that FHU site (800 plus metered electric)

So use that figure in your budget.
