Good idea to encourage people to visit our beautiful parks. However, from the email I received about it and the NPS website the fee waiver is for entrance fees. Camping fees are one of the fees specifically excluded. There are some doing discounts for other services, but no free camping.

quote_“I encourage everyone to visit one of our nation’s crown jewels this summer and especially to take advantage of the three free-admission weekends.” Sorry to burst the bubble, but since concessionaires are contracted to operate most everything inside our National Parks, even Salizar cannot waive camping fees.

No free camping; read the fine print
"
*Fee waiver includes: entrance fees, commercial tour fees, and transportation entrance fees. Other fees such as reservation, camping, tours, concession and fees collected by third parties are not included unless stated otherwise."
